Unbelievable People With Mysterious Extra Body Parts


Extra body parts occur more often than you might think. Doctors call the extra appendages supernumerary body parts, and they can be found on some famous people in history as well as current celebrities.

Some people are born different, and they seem to stand out from the crowd. People are born with extra body parts. Well, we here have some people who were born with extra body parts that are permanent like an extra head, an extra finger, and even eight limbs!

1.  The Boy Who was Born with an Extra Strand of DNA

A two-year-old boy has become the only person in the world to be diagnosed with an extra strand in his DNA. Doctors are baffled at his condition, which is so rare that it does not have a name. They also have no idea whether his condition will improve or reduce his life expectancy.


2. The Baby Who was Born with Two Heads

Maria de Nazare, a 25-year-old Brazilian woman, believed when she was going into labor that she would be welcoming two babies into the world. Instead, just minutes before giving birth, tests revealed that the twins would share the same heart, lungs, liver, and pelvis. The babies have two brains and separate spines.

The two-headed boy is, in reality, conjoined twins who share a single body. The condition is known as dicephalic parapagus, an extremely unusual form of conjoinment.


3. The Woman with Two Uteruses Who Gave Birth to Triplets

It might seem unusual for a woman to have two uteruses, but the condition, known as uterine didelphys, occurs in about one in 1,000 women. In fact, Hannah Kersey, her mother, and her sister all have two wombs. But Hannah made history in 2006 when she gave birth to triplets; the 23-year-old woman from Northam in Devon had identical twins Ruby and Tilly, who were born from one womb, and Grace, who was born from the other.


4. The baby with three arms. 

A Pakistani baby girl was born with three arms in India due to a sporadic condition. She was born with a third arm joined to her back near her spinal cord.


5. The boy with an extra body. 

Deepak Paswan, an Indian boy, was born with an extra body on his chest. He was operated for the parasitic twin and is doing great now.


6. The man with an extra nose. 

Xiaolian, a Chinese man whose first nose was irreparably damaged from infection. Doctors decided to grow a second nose on the man’s forehead to replace the original nose, making it easy for him.


7. The girl who was born pregnant. 

A baby from Hong Kong was born not with surplus body parts but was pregnant with her own set of siblings. The condition is popularly known as fetus-in-fetu, and it occurs in about one in every 500,000 births.

Grandmother Zhang Ruifang of the Linlou village, Henan province, began developing a mysterious forehead horn in 2009. She is even known as the ‘Goat Woman.’


9. Bradley Cooper has five nipples. 

Bradley Cooper revealed his shocking nipples on the Ellen in 2012. He has a third nipple underneath his regular one, one on his arm and one on his leg!


10. The man with two hearts.

A man in Italy was born with two hearts. He survived a double heart attack in 2010.

George Lippert, born in Germany with two functioning hearts and three legs. Lippert positively billed himself as the only “Three Legged Man” and performed as a part of the P.T. Barnum & Bailey Circus for over 24 years.

Kang Kang, the Chinese baby, born in China’s Hunan province had a rare disorder. He was born with a face as an extra body part.

Hong Hong, a Chinese boy, was born with 15 fingers and 16 toes in 2016. He has two palms on each hand and no thumbs.
